John is the Executive Chairman of BetaSmartz. Passionate about giving people the tools to make smart decisions about their money, John founded BetaSmartz in 2015. John is also Founder and CEO of Fusion Acquisition Corp. II & II. Previously, John spent his career developing financial products, platforms, and investment strategies for large financial institutions and startups, including his own successful investment management firm that he founded in 2005. He has in-depth knowledge of global markets, investing, risk management and running successful businesses.
Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (F Fin). MA - Oxford. Law - London and business and marketing - Illinois at Urbana-Champaign - College of Business.

Zak Allom

Zak is the CEO of BetaSmartz and is an expert in wealth and asset management. He has had a global financial services career spanning over 20 years. Having started life as a professional musician, Zak first moved into the world of financial services as an equities trader in the City of London in 1997. He was latterly a co-founder of a global alternative investment firm and spent several years in executive search and advisory, focusing exclusively on the asset and wealth management sector. In recent years Zak was Head of Asia for Tardis Group, and also ran the firm’s asset and wealth management practice globally. Zak is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (FRSA) and a Member of the Royal Geographical Society.
Michael Jackson

Michael is Chief Technology Officer of BetaSmartz. He is a senior IT professional and was most recently Director, Product Manager at Manulife Wealth and Asset Management (Asia). His extensive career has seen him work with a number of the largest insurance and financial institutions across Asia and the US including KPMG, Merrill Lynch and ING Life with roles in software development, process engineering, production support, enterprise implementation, Head of Solution Delivery and PMO transformation. Michael holds an Associate Degree in Aircraft Design Technology from Vaughn College of Aeronautic Engineering, Aviation, and Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University.
Toby Fenn

Toby has over 15 years sales experience across the wealth and asset management industries. Previously sales director at Castlestone Management, Toby was responsible for driving both passive and active portfolio solutions throughout APAC. Prior to this, Toby was head of sales at Capital Platforms. This investment platform remains a notable pioneer in digitization, moving wealth and asset management online. MSc - Nottingham. Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
Tim Pethybridge

Tim is a highly experienced private wealth and investment management specialist. He started his career as a stockbroker, with senior management roles at Vickers da Costa, Salomon Brothers and RHB Group. Latterly he was Head of the Client Group at Coutts, Director of Private Wealth at Deutsche Bank (UK) and Head of Key Clients at Lloyds Bank Private Banking. Tim is a founding partner and Chief Risk Officer of a specialist corporate finance, advisory and investment management business. Tim holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Oxford.

Ian Renwood
高级顾问
David is an adviser to BetaSmartz and is a C-Suite executive and entrepreneur with global experience in technology as a digital transformation leader, thought leader and practitioner. He was Global Industry Lead - Services at Microsoft, launching and growing their global business consulting practice across FSI, retail, manufacturing, government, healthcare and education. He is a Microsoft veteran of 16 years (roles from FS and banking to enterprise sales and business turnaround). He is a board member of the Banking Industry Architecture Network (BIAN).
David is a PhD candidate in business strategy at Macquarie University, holds an MBA from UT Sydney and has completed executive education at Harvard. He is a member of the AICD.
Ian is an adviser to BetaSmartz and has extensive experience in digital transformation and financial services. He is currently a Partner of Grant Thornton Australia, head of technology advisory, and has also held industry roles in banking. Previously with IBM, Ian was a global thought leader for the application of emerging technologies including cloud, analytics, cognitive, social and distributed ledger particularly implementing new go to market innovations in the banking, financial markets and retail sectors.
Ian holds an MBA from the University of Sydney with further studies at Stanford University Graduate School of Business and the CAIA.
